Victory Fellowship Church Scholarship and Tuition Assistance Committee 2025

The 2025 church budget includes $10000 to be divided among qualified applicants to provide tuition assistance for elementary through college and vocational school students. The committee is comprised of the senior pastor and at least three other church members who will be responsible for reviewing and approving applications.

  1. Eligible candidates should be members/regular attenders of VFC or children/grandchildren of VFC members/regular attenders. It will be at the discretion of the scholarship and tuition assistance committee to consider those who fall outside these parameters.
  2. The scholarship and tuition assistance committee will determine what criteria is appropriate to measure each applicant's submission for scholarship/tuition assistance funds. Criteria includes, be in good standing with the church, be a person of good, moral character and citizenship, and be in good standing with his or her educational/training institution.
  3. The senior pastor will serve on the committee as an advisor and will not vote on awards.
  4. Funds not distributed during the calendar year will not roll over to the next budget year.  The committee will distribute the allocated funds based on the applicant pool.
  5. The deadline to submit an application for funds is April 15. Funds will be distributed after the committee receives verification from award winners of their acceptance to their educational/training institution.
  6. Scholarship recipients may re-apply for subsequent years of their education or training.
  7. Funds will be distributed to the award recipients by check and it will be at their discretion on how the funds will be used (education, moving costs, housing, etc.). The expectation of the committee is that the funds will be used for education and training related purposes.
  8. You may use the online application or download the attached form and return to the church by May 15, 2025 for consideration.
