The Israelites escaped Egypt by God’s miraculous power and divine intervention. As they are preparing for the conquest of Canaan, God instructs Moses to send “men to spy out the land of Canaan which I am giving to the children of Israel” (Numbers 13:1). Joshua and Caleb were the only ones to give a good report. What we say reveals what we believe and is instrumental in determining the outcome.
