Receive the Word

James says, "Receive with meekness the engrafted word."  Receive is an instructive word in the Gospels.  Its the door which opens to God's grace for it to come in.  We are not saved by works.  We are not saved by what we give to God, but by what He gives to us.  (From the Sermon, "Before, During and After" July 18, 2021)
